For members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated there is no sisterhood like ours. From its founding in 1922 by seven school teachers, to its continued growing membership across the United States and the globe, we continue to attract quality women who are dedicated to service to her community. We encourage you to not only learn all you can about Sigma Gamma Rho, but to understand the depth of history of the black Greek system as a whole. Find out how you identify with our organization--or for that matter, how you don't--so that you can make an informed decision as to whether this sisterhood is right for you.
Graduate Membership
Sorors
For transferring and returning Sorors, we warmly welcome you to join us at our upcoming events and community service. Please contact us at zetanusigma@gmail.com for more information.
Non-Sorors
Graduate membership, does not mean you have to be in grad school to join. Joining at the Graduate level just means that you have obtained a bachelors' degree from an accredited four-year institution. Interested women should use the contact form below so that our membership chair can connect you to our list of chapter events and members of the chapter. Since interest can be exhibited in a variety of ways, we highly recommend interested women to attend informational teas, programs, and social events conducted by Zeta Nu Sigma. As there are no set calendars for intake, interested women can express their interest and begin to make their acquaintance with chapter members at any time.
Undergraduate Membership
A woman may be admitted for membership in an undergraduate chapter only while in attendance at a four-year college or university, or in a liberal arts/transfer program of a junior or community college, once they submit proof of intention to enter and obtain a degree from a four-year school.
We are a working organization, and want you to be sure that you are entering into an environment in which you can be productive and flourish as an active member. Remember, this is no mere membership...it is a lifetime commitment.
